Chick-fil-A Keto Menu Options & Ordering Guide

There’s something so crave-worthy about fast food chicken joints. But if you’re following a ketogenic diet, a chicken sandwich is not typically on the keto menu.

One of the restaurants ketogenic dieters miss the most is Chick-fil-A. Samuel Truett Cathy, an American businessman and author, founded Chick-fil-A in 1967. Since then, it’s grown to over 2,300 restaurants across 47 states[*]

The fast-food chain is known for its waffle fries and fried chicken sandwiches, and while those foods don’t exactly sound like they’re low-carb friendly,  the best thing about Chick-fil-A is that it offers keto-friendly meals as part of its menu.

Of course, you could scour the Chick-fil-A nutrition information and do the mental math to find out what you can eat at Chick-fil-A. Or, you could just use this keto Chick-fil-A swipe guide.

How to Find Chick-fil-A Keto Options on the Menu

If you read this at home, forget to bookmark it, and find yourself at a Chick-fil-A with nothing but your smartphone, you can still survive. You can find a complete list of meals, ingredients, and nutrition facts on the company’s website.

When you’re looking for macros and ingredients of individual products, select the product.

Click “See Nutrition” and you will get all the nutrition information.

You can add all of the items that make up your meal to MyFitnessPal, Carb Counter, or any other macronutrient and nutrition app to find out the grand totals.

Sometimes other app users have already logged and saved the most common options (like a bunless burger) so you can just select it!

If you select one of the following menu items, however, you should be good to go.

5 Worst Chick-fil-A Menu Options on Keto

The following options are the worst things to order off of the Chick-fil-A menu if you’re following a keto diet. However, some of them become a lot better if you skip the bread or bun.

1. Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit

2. Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit

3. Chicken Biscuit

4. Chocolate Chunk Cookie

5. Waffle Potato Fries

If you skip the bun when you order the first three, you can reduce carb count significantly. You can generally order these options on the CKD or if you’re eating extremely low-carb all day.

You should always avoid fast food desserts and fries and instead opt for low-carb desserts, keto snacks, and sugar-free candies
