In this article, Tim shares some of his favorite keto Super Bowl recipes. They’re easy to make, low-carb and keto-friendly, and will make you the MVP of any party (even among carb lovers).

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest events of the year in the US. It’s known for football, but it’s also known for the commercials, half-time show, and the crazy food consumption.

Keto-Friendly Super Bowl Dip Recipes

Dips are always a hit at parties… and Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest days to dip and dunk to your heart’s content. 

Dips are perfect for the ketogenic diet because dips need fat for texture and flavor. 

Common dip ingredients include cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise — all high-fat keto-approved foods! Finding low-carb foods to dip into can be challenging since crackers and chips are full of carbs. 

Your best options are low-carb veggies, like cucumbers, bell peppers, celery, and carrots. This helps you bump up your veggie intake without spiking your carbs.

There are countless guacamole recipes out there, but this one gets a keto-friendly fat boost with the addition of olive oil. This pushes the fat macros to 80% with just 3g net carbs per serving. Keto Crisps + guacamole = amazing! 

#2. Spinach Dip

This keto spinach dip is delicious at any temperature. 

Serve it chilled, room temperature, or hot out of the oven… it’ll be a hit no matter what. It has a whopping 83% fat from cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Parmesan cheese. Plus, you get a nice boost of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants from the spinach.

#3: Buffalo Chicken Dip

This buffalo chicken dip has a little more protein than the others due to the chicken thighs. 

It also gets a satiating dose of fat from cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Plus, it has a spicy kick from hot sauce. 

This dip is best-served piping hot with crisp cold veggies.

You’ll most likely be eating your food while sitting on a couch or standing in front of the TV, so easy finger foods you can put on a small plate are ideal for Super Bowl parties. 

#4. Jalapeño Poppers

You can’t go wrong with jalapeño poppers! 

This keto version uses cream cheese and bacon, but feel free to substitute another choice of cheese if you’d like. 

The oven makes the jalapeños deliciously charred, softens the cheese, and crisps up the bacon. Pop one into your mouth for a taste bud touchdown!

Here’s another keto recipe featuring bacon because bacon is awesome and makes everything better. Case in point — deviled eggs. 

In this version, you mix a little bacon fat into the egg yolk mixture along with mayo, dijon mustard, and some seasonings. Then you place crispy bacon pieces in the egg white halves before filling it. You’ll never make deviled eggs any other way again!

Meatballs are such a delicious comfort food. And they’re delicious with or without sauce. 

This Italian Meatball recipe uses ground beef for a satiating boost of fat and replaces breadcrumbs with flaxseed meal, grated Parmesan, and shredded mozzarella to cut the carbs.

#7. Mini Cheesecake Bites

One of Tim’s all-time favorite desserts is keto cheesecake. These no-bake mini cheesecakes couldn’t be easier to make. They need to be frozen so it’s best to make them the day before the party. These keto cheesecakes are delicious whether frozen or thawed so pull them out of the freezer when your party starts, and they’ll be good to go for hours. 

Each mini cheesecake is 88% fat and only 6% carbs (2.5g net carbs per serving).

#8. Chocolate Chip Cookies

This chocolate chip cookie recipe gets keto-fied with almond flour and erythritol

For those unfamiliar with it, erythritol is one of the top sugar-free natural sweeteners for keto. It’s derived from corn and is great for baking because it can be a 1:1 substitute for sugar. 

Erythritol doesn’t have an unpleasant aftertaste like stevia does. You’ll recognize all the other ingredients: butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda, and, of course, chocolate!
