Never Tried Keto Coffee Before? Use These Tips
The recipe below is the way Tim Tebow drinks his coffee, and that works for him. But some people like their morning coffee a little differently, so we want to give you a few suggestions to make sure your version helps you stay in ketosis.
These tips will help you customize or make substitutions based on your preferences:
- If you don’t like heavy cream, any dairy without added sugar will work. Try KetoLogic’s Coffee Creamer (mocha is Tim’s favorite) or just using extra full-fat coconut milk.
- Use half-caf if you don’t want too much caffeine in the morning.
- KetoLogic’s Erythritol is a favorite natural sweetener for coffee. It’s a sweetener derived from corn and has 70 percent of the sweetness of regular sugar with no calories. - 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons coconut milk
