Tell us about yourself.
I’m 29, I live in Raleigh, NC. I work as a business insurance agent. I heard about KetoLogic and KETO 30 from their partnership with Tim Tebow. I’d always wanted to give keto a try but never committed. I haven’t really tried other diets in the past, I just always wanted to out-work my diet (unsuccessfully, I may add).
Why did you participate in the KETO 30 Challenge?
I felt it was a great way to get started on my keto diet. I liked the idea of not only investing financially in my diet but also the accountability and teaching that came along with it. I felt like this would be the best way to start and make this into a lifestyle and not just a fading trend, so that it would stick!
I felt great, I was fasting at first, and found myself lacking enough energy for my workouts, but I can say as I was losing weight, I was getting faster, but maintaining close to the strength I had at the start.
The least favorite part is saying goodbye to bread, sushi, desserts, the ease of going out to dinner and having the whole menu to choose from. But how I felt physically and mentally doing keto was my favorite part, and KetoLogic provided a bunch of recipes to help me with any cravings I was having. I developed a new form of discipline in my eating with this diet and I feel as good as I have since I played football in college because of it.
Describe your results on the KETO 30 Challenge.
All my clothes are too big or I finally fit into the clothes I’ve been holding onto hoping to fit in one day. I’m in the best shape I’ve been in since I was playing football in college 8+ years ago. I’ve also felt very mentally sharp in my performance at work and in everyday life. I usually have high blood pressure but when I went to give blood, my numbers were all in the average range. Overall, I would say that I feel as good as I have since I was in college and working out 3+ hours everyday with a professional training staff taking care of me.
What advice would you give to someone considering the KETO 30 Challenge?
It’s worth it. Do your research ahead of time and prepare. Use the resources and community given to you and it will be the most rewarding first 30 days of a diet that you can have. Take it day by day until your health and fitness become a lifestyle. Don’t neglect the “be active” part of the diet. That’s the one thing KetoLogic can’t give you in a supplement. But the work you put in will be boosted by the diet.
